Shipping &
Delivery
Depending on
the item that you purchase, we offer four different delivery
options (Please
contact
us for shipping outside of the continental United States):
Standard UPS Ground Shipping:
- Many
items, including unassembled items (these items are clearly stated as
unassembled), ship via UPS. Please allow up to 5 days for delivery.
- Larger
or heavier items are shipped with our home delivery partner. We offer
"standard" delivery and "white glove" delivery on these items. These
deliveries are performed within 3-5 days once the item is ready to ship:
Standard Home
Delivery:
- With
standard delivery, you will be contacted to set up a delivery
appointment so you can enjoy the most efficient use of your time. Our
delivery partner will contact you to schedule the delivery date, as
well as confirm the delivery address within 48 hours of the product
shipping. Your product will be delivered by a professional driver that
will place your product to the nearest location on your property that
allows for protection from the elements, protection from theft, and
that will not require lifting without an additional person. With this
delivery option, the professional driver may not be able to carry your
product in your house or up/down a flight of stairs. This is service is
comparable to UPS ground, but with larger or heavier items.
White Glove
Delivery:
- With white glove delivery,
you will be contacted to set up a delivery appointment in the same manner
and with the same precision as our Standard Home
Delivery. Our delivery partner will place the product
in an area identified by the customer inside or outside of the house (or
other building). This service also includes removing the
product from the packing material and disposing of the packing
material. This service does not provide any assembly
services.
- Please
allow 4-6 weeks for delivery for items that ship direct from the
manufacturer. These items are clearly identified as a
direct-from-manufacturer item. Items that are in stock usually ship out
the day of the order.
FedEx
Freight:
This service is provided for our very large or heavy items, such as
swingsets. Because FedEx uses one driver, the customer must be able to
assist the driver with any oversized boxes. For FedEx freight
shipments, the company will contact you to schedule a delivery. Warranty
- If any item breaks during shipping or assembly, we will replace it at no extra cost.
- If you are unhappy with the quality of any certain part it will be replaced/exchanged at no charge.
Return
Policy
- Check all merchandise for shipping damage immediately
- Items will only be accepted
back in original condition and original packaging.
- All returns must first be
authorized with Discount Woodworks.
- For any
non-defective merchandise, shipping costs are non-refundable is the
responsibility of the customer. Discount Woodworks will
schedule a pick-up if the item is too large to be shipped via
UPS.
